Thursday, December 14, 2017. The Primary teacher make Christmas Party in School Canteen. The Party start at 16:00 pm. The committee (panitia) had prepare material since morning. The material just as rice, fish, beacon (pork = daging babi), beef (daging sapi). I help to piercing (menusuk) sate to puncture (tusukan). Mrs Desy, Mr. Wilson, Ms. Yohana and I work as team to make of this. I use plastic to protect my hand when take beef (daging sapi) which had spiced up (dibumbui). The other prepare the equipment (perlengkapan) burn (bakar), just as combustion (pembakaran) container (wadah), burning charcoal (arang pembakaran), wire clamp (kawat penjepit) fish or meat, fan (kipas). We burn the carp (ikan gurami). Other teachers prepare the food (rice), prepare the fruits, beverage (minuman), sauce (sambal), soy sauce (kecap), butter (mentega). We use banana leaf (daun pisang) as wrap (bungkus) fish to avoid burnt (gosong). Ms. Ibed very smart to make this. I see while study. When all equipment complete, we start to burn the fish. We work as team work. There are teachers who burning sate, clean the banana leaf as pedestal (alas) for food just as tomato, cabbage, cucumber (mentimun). Other teachers prepare the gas, stove. There are stove (kompor) that current (mutakhir) use small gas cylinders (tabung gas). I see Ms Adit set it. Than we can make soup use the gas cylinder (selinder). Than we burning the fish. We flipping through (bolak - balik) it until mature than rub (oles) with butter (mentega) and soy sauce (kecap). The result is very good. I study how to make grilled fish. This is new experience for me. Than we start our activity. There are show from male and female teachers. The female teachers make activities nicely. They make chain poetry (puisi berantai): trader egg (by Ms Ibeth), love - Young boy ( by Ms. Fidelis), and fighters (pejuang) by Ms Lidya. The other actors is Ms Adeitya and Ms. Theresia (Ica). Than the they bring song and dance. Than the male teachers program sing of song. Ms Ica bring flower to Mr. Jonsen. Than we supper. We give chance to to OB to take a food. "Please take the halal food (fish, beef sate), please avoid the unclean food (makanan haram), just a pork (daging babi), I said. Ms. Desy warning the same idea.
Than we eat while talk, dance. I drink of whisky. Mr. Romeo, Mr. Mario (Principal), Mr. Wilson, Mr. Bento, Mr. Rinto and I join drink beverage. There are whisky and beer. Ms. Adit, Ms. Dyaning , Ms Ana join on drink. Ms. Adit smoke too. Some women teachers until drunk (mabuk) but still control themselves. I drink it after supper, so not drunk (mabuk). The event very funny. Than we talk, dance than go back teacher room. I read news in internet while rice that I prepare form home. Than I go back to home at 21:00 pm.

The new experience for me from this event:
- Wrap fish with banana leaf before burning in order to not burnt (gosong). Rub with butter (mentega) and soy sauce (kecap)
- Eat steamboat (shabu-shabu). Shabu-shabu, a typical Japanese cuisine (masakan), generally uses sliced beef (irisan daging sapi), mushroom, and various vegetables. The food enthusiasts usually like shabu-shabu.
